In the first place is the fact that the largest amount of rain-forest in the World are important due to the fact that they are useful for clean air since nowadays all the air that is contaminated.



The climate is very important to the planet and the rain forest helps in the regulation of the climate, and this is one of the reasons why the rain forests is now protected by law. There is a possibility that the World is threatened and there is a chance that the rain forests can reduce the possible consequences of the great flood that could happen today in South America.

Plants that exist in the rain forest today were a source of large number of medicines that are made throughout the United States and are very useful to people who have health problems. According to some recent studies there are over 200 kinds of plants in the rain forest which help us make more than 650 types of medicines. This is another fact why the rain forests are very important for the entire Planet.

Animals in the Amazon Rainforest are very numerous today and make up to 20 per cent of the total number of animals that inhabit the Planet. Rain forest is the largest forest in the world and it is the size of Antarctica. It is a very important place in the World because the question would be whether the country could develop normally without these rain forests.

There are some places in the World that are very important and one of those places is certainly the Rain forest. it is important for the people who live anywhere in the world and for all animals in the Amazon Rainforest and in the World.

Animals in the Amazon Rainforest live there longer than people on this planet. For more than 70,000 years different kinds of animals live in the Amazon rain forest. Some of them are now very numerous and well known throughout the world.

Amazon rain forest is a heaven for animals that live in this place because the Amazon rain forest is a rare place in the World that is left natural for over 50,000 years and people did not change this position.





Anaconda snakes: This snake is well known both for it's size and because it is very dangerous and is one of the most dangerous animal that lives in the Amazon Rainforest. We can freely say that today Anaconda snake has no enemies and that it is a rare animal which is not in danger in the Amazon Rainforest. These animals eat animals like monkeys, cats, largest Fish, largest Crocodile, other snakes and many other animals

Jaguar: This is a very rare animal in the Amazon Rainforest and is a very lonely animal. They can be seen very rarely due to the fact that by some statistics there are only 1200 in the entire Amazon Rainforest.

Golden Lion Tamarin: an animal that resembles the real lion who now lives in Africa. But this kind of animal is much smaller in its size. Like the Jaguar, this kind of animal is also very rare and is difficult to be seen in nature.

Orangutan: a very popular animal today and this animal is not as endangered as some other Animals in the Amazon Rainforest. According to recent research on these animals, there are about 13,000 across the Amazon rainforest.

Toco Toucan: Type of birds that now live near the the river Amazon in the rainforest. They feed with animals like frogs, fish and eggs from other animals.

Poison Dart Frogs: This species of frogs is known to be very colorful and it is very toxic and dangerous for people. Its venom is not only dangerous but is also useful in medicine as scientists found a few years ago. These frogs can be seen both in North America and in South America.

Monarch Butterfly: This species of butterfly is not the same as other ordinary butterfly because this butterfly is poisonous. This kind of butterfly is very beautiful in appearance due to a variety of colors it has, but they are dangerous.

Harpy Eagle: This eagle can be seen only in South Africa and by some researches there are only 400 animals that belong to this endangered species. This eagle eats everything and only a few animals are not threatened by these birds, such as Anaconda and Jaguar.

Gray Mouse: An interesting kind of Animals in the Amazon rainforest, this mouse is the most endangered of all animals in the Amazon Rainforest today.

Gorilla: a well-known species of monkeys and it is one of the most numerous species of animals that live today in the Amazon rainforest. They live in the wood and this animal has three enemies such as Anaconda, Eagle and Jaguar.

Today everyone knows that there is a very large number of animals that live in the Rainforest. However some of them are very vulnerable. There are several types of endangered animals in the rainforest and in this short story you'll learn which animals are currently endangered.

People are responsible for this situation since they have destroyed the place where these animals live. They are very difficult to adapt to the new environment and new location and many have failed to adapt as they should.

Orangutan: This species of monkey is very endangered. If this great decrease of these animals continues in the future there is great chance they will completely disappear from our Planet. So we have to react in time and prevent them to be hunted and destroyed in their environment.

Jaguar: This type of cats is so rare that it is estimated that there are only 200 total in the Amazon Raiforest.

Chimpanzee: Also a kind of monkey that is also highly endangered due to the fact that for many years their homes have been destroyed.

Bengal Tiger: This animal can not only be seen in the Amazon but also in other parts of the world. This means that this animal is less threatened than others and are present in a larger number. Nut the Bengal Tiger is now one of the endangered animals in the Amazon rainforest.

Food in the tropical Rainforest is very diverse in the Amazon woods because there is actually a large number of animals. On top of the feeding chain are three animals that have ruled this part of the World in the wild. Two species of animals that are at the top of the foodchain are Jaguar and Python snake.



These animals do not fear anyone because they are the largest snake that live in this place. These animals eat everything but their favorite food is meat. Python snake feeds on animals such as Monkeys, Foxes, Fish, Rabbits, Birds, Frogs and many other small animals. Jaguar is a cat who is black and is a very rare animal today in South America.

By some estimates these are 700 of these large cats in the whole Amazon. The Jaguar is one of the very endangered animals and it is protected by the law nowadays. Chimpanzees are very numerous in the Amazon today and they eat foods such as bananas, Macaws, plants and small animals that live in the Amazon like squirrels, frogs and many other.

There are many plants and fruits in the Amazon rainforest and all the animals that live there and eat fruits have no trouble finding food. There is also a large number of snakes in the Amazon and they are less dangerous for the animals that live in Rainforest. According to some studies about 45 of the most dangerous types of snakes live in the Amazon today.

Food can be found easily in the Amazon rainforest so it has never been a problem for the animals living there, but there is always a danger, because there is a constant struggle for survival in the Amazon and only the strongest animals survive.
